2023

June 17, 2023 (Website Update)

Oops, I did it again...

I reorganized my website. I changed many of the folder names and repositioned them into different places. All of my website should still work fine and it all should be completely accessible as always, however...

If you have any of my pages bookmarked, you will have to update those bookmarks again, because the old ones will not work anymore.

Whenever you change a folder or file name in your website, the https path will no longer point to it because it isn't there anymore. So the old bookmark will not work anymore. It is also the same thing if you move a folder or file to a different location.

I did the same thing last year in July of 2022. I did it then because I finally had just about all of my website updated to my new, easy to manage code and I decided to reorganize everything just to make it more manageable for me. More manageable just means to make it faster and easier to maintain and update whenever I want to or need to.

This time I reorganized my website just to make it easier to create better or proper sub-domain names. I didn't know that much about sub-domain names last year. I had to look stuff up on the internet.

Sub-domains are primarily or only used for better SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

If you have a website you can make as many sub-domain names as you want. As long as you have a folder of it with at least an index file in it, though you should have more files in it then just an index.

For example, My website domain name is...

fcmorton.com

To make a sub-domain name you would just add a prefix to the actually domain name and seperated it with a period (.), as so...

president.fcmorton.com

calendar-years.fcmorton.com

free-desktop-patterns.fcmorton.com

smaritt.fcmorton.com

All sub-domain names are in lowercase.

I first found these a while ago. I don't know how long they have been around. I don't really have the time to keep up with stuff like this, being that I am homeless and the federal, state, and local government (the "people" who have the real jobs) are keeping me down, and stealing my money, making sure I never have any, and a whole lot more. Its quite painful and severe. However, I will endure and when SMARiTT comes out and we all use it right, this will never happen again, to anyone. It seems to be quite common and severe for many people. We all have a right to see what really flew into the pentagon on 911.

Back to sub-domain names...

I found these in my control panel on my webhost's server. They were probably there for a while, I just never really cared about them before. I figured that I probably didn't really need better SEO. I figured my website should be easy enough to find anyway. (Unless the SMARiTT people rig it so my website wouldn't be easy enough to find). However, since they are there, and now I know how to use them, I figured that I might as well use them. So I reorganized my website to take better advantage of them. Also, the webserver control panel is now even easier to use.

Thank You For Coming To My Website and reading this article.

Please Vote For Me For President Of The United States Of America,

so that I may bring SMARiTT out properly and forever, to make the world a better and safer place for everyone.
